Akshat Tewari

Director of Curriculum and Assessments

Akshat Tewari is a seasoned professional with over ten years of leadership experience in the Education and IT sectors. Before joining Khaitan Education Centre (KEC) as the Director of Curriculum and Assessments, he significantly contributed as the Director of Academics at the Sitare Foundation. There, he successfully developed and implemented Sitare’s educational model and continues to serve as an Advisor to the Board.

Holding a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication, Akshat’s journey began as an engineer with a US-based MNC. During his tenure, he volunteered with several NGOs, initiating projects to teach children in slums, orphanages, and juvenile homes. The profound impact of this work on at-risk children began to reshape his perspective on schooling and education, inspiring him to leave his corporate job for a more meaningful contribution in the education sector.

Since then, Akshat has dedicated himself to K-12 education, working as a data-driven educator with reputed organizations and schools, including Teach for India and Step by Step School.

Monika Sharma

Associate Director – Technology & Innovation

Monika Sharma brings over 25 years of experience across education, technology integration, and institutional operations. As Associate Director – Technology & Innovation, she leads the strategic integration of technology across teaching, learning, and school systems, supporting innovation while strengthening academic and operational effectiveness across campuses.

Her work focuses on building future-ready learning environments through the thoughtful adoption of digital tools, AI-enabled practices, and a structured skill-based technology curriculum. She plays a key role in developing experiential learning pathways integrating artificial intelligence, robotics, animation, graphic design, sound engineering, and vocational technology skills within mainstream education, enabling students to engage with both applied and creative dimensions of technology. Working closely with academic leadership, she contributes to creating sustainable technology ecosystems that enhance teaching practices and expand student learning opportunities.

She holds an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, complemented by advanced studies in Computer Applications and System Designing, along with an academic background in Psychology from Delhi University. Before moving into the education sector, she built over two decades of professional experience across leading global organisations including Vodafone, Standard Chartered, and GE, where she developed strong expertise in systems thinking, operational processes, and organisational management.

Charu Sakhuja

Director - HR

Charu Sakhuja, With over 19 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources, Ms. Charu Sakhuja brings a wealth of expertise in organizational leadership and the advancement of sustainable development goals. At Khaitan Education Centre, Charu is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development that aligns with the institution’s dedication to educational excellence. Her goal is to drive innovation and efficiency in HR practices, supporting a dynamic and inclusive school environment.

In her previous role as Assistant Director at BML Munjal University, Ms. Charu led the development and implementation of a robust Performance Management System, oversaw promotions, and introduced strategic initiatives in rewards and recognition. Her contributions were instrumental in managing attrition and enhancing operational processes, underscoring her commitment to cultivating a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture and achieving organizational goals. Her work continues to make a significant impact in shaping a supportive, forward-thinking educational community.

Vishwa Srivastava

Director of Professional Learning Championing Children and Childhood

Vishwa Srivastava is a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience in K-12 education. Beginning his career as an English language and literature teacher at the prestigious Riverside School in Ahmedabad, expanded his role to include curriculum development, teacher-training, and educational leadership. His journey has been guided by a deep commitment to supporting students and educators at respected institutions, including Heritage Xperiential Learning’s I Am A Teacher, Learning Matters, RiversideLearning Center, and SchoolwallahEducation Consultancy.

Vishwa serves as the Director of Professional Learning for Khaitan Schools, overseeing curriculum design for early years, pedagogic process improvement and teacher development. Focused on creating enriching, child-centred learning environments, Vishwa remains passionate about building nurturing spaces that prioritise student well-being and empower educators to make learning meaningful.

SHERIN M. ABRAHAM

HR Head

Ms. Sherin M. Abraham is an HR professional with over Eight plus years of experience in HR functions, adeptly managing both corporate and educational sectors. Her approach to HR management is defined by a commitment to open and honest communication, coupled with the belief that attitude precedes skills. Armed with a Master’s in Business Administration from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sherin embarked on her journey in the world of human resources after making significant strides in training and placements within the financial sector.

Her career trajectory led her to Lenskart Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a pioneering optical firm in the e-commerce industry, where she swiftly rose from intern to integral team member as HR Business Partner.  Here, Sherin honed her skills in managing diverse teams spanning online and offline marketing, contact center operations, logistics, and learning and development.  Sherin’s relentless pursuit of growth and learning eventually led her to the education sector, where she made a lasting impact at Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society (DPSGS).

During her tenure at DPSGS, Sherin was instrumental in building the HR department from the ground up, alongside developing the marketing and communications division, alumni cell, and career counseling and university placements team. Her ability to seamlessly manage recruitment, induction, training, grievance handling, and performance management across diverse domains set her apart as a transformative HR professional. Recognized for her strong employee value proposition and commitment to fostering an engaged workplace culture, Sherin’s journey now continues at Khaitan Education Centre.
